The Apostolic Johannite Church is excited to announce the addition of Dr. M. David Litwa speaking on Principles of Gnostic Spirituality – a sequel to the excellent and popular talk Hermetic Spirituality that he delivered for us in 2023 to our program for this year’s upcoming Conclave 2025: Divine Union, Mysticism and Theurgy from May 8th-13th, both in-person and online.
Dr. David Litwa earned his PhD in Religious Studies in 2013 from the University of Virginia. He is the author of twenty books in the fields of early Christian and Gnostic studies. Armed with a decade of teaching and advising experience (in-person and online), he has helped literally thousands of students gain an understanding of Gnosis, Hermetism, and the Greco-Roman world on his YouTube channel, online database (mdavidlitwa.com), and in the Gnosis Academy (his suite of online courses). His passion for teaching and extensive knowledge of the field make him a key resource for students seeking to probe consensus views and transform their minds.
