Apostolic Johannite Church

Parish of St. Joachim of Fiore – Los Angeles, California

MI IV LogoThe Apostolic Johannite Church and the Archdiocese of Wisconsin are pleased to announce the creation of the AJC’s newest parish in the United States. The Parish of St. Joachim of Fiore is being formed in Los Angeles, California, and will operate under the direction the Reverend Deacon John J. DiGilio. Deacon DiGilio was formerly rector of the Parish of St. John the Revelator in Chicago, IL.

Our newest parish is named in honor of the renowned Italian mystic and theologian, Gioacchino da Fiore (1135 – 1202). Events and news regarding the parish can be found on their new website at http://www.stjoachimajc.org. The group is currently looking for physical space in which to offer its monthly celebration of the Eucharist and to host social and study gatherings. Please stay tuned for more details very soon. Interested individuals can also get involved via the parish Meetup group at http://www.meetup.com/Gnostic-Hollywood/.

We are also grateful for the support and encouragement of the Ecclesia Gnostica and HG the Most Reverend Tau Stephanus, Dr. Stephen A. Hoeller.
